Entrance Ramp Rehabilitation

The Condominium building at located 35 Empress Avenue is a 24-storey high-rise residential building and is situated on the south-west corner of Doris Avenue and Empress Avenue. According to the original documentation provided, the building was constructed in the early 1994’s.

The building’s underground parking garage has three parking levels, two suspended basement parking levels and one on-grade sub-basement parking level. Entrance/exit from the parking garage is via heated ramp located on the south side of the property.

Elarge prepared specifications and drawings and provided contract administration services for the rehabilitation of the garage ramp including heating cables, concrete, waterproofing and asphalt pavement replacement.

The property located at 21 Pirandello Street Toronto, Ontario is a town house complex with approx. 475 units over two stories spread over 12 townhouse blocks with a two level below grade parking structure. The property was constructed circa 2006.

The parking garage consists of one suspended parking level which typically utilizes 2-way normally reinforced slab construction and one on-grade level. The footprint of the parking garage is larger than
the footprint of the townhouse complex above creating a podium deck, landscape in between the townhouses. Ingress to the underground parking garage is via two entrance/exit ramp, accessible via East Liberty Street and Western Battery Road. The entrance/exit ramp appears to be heated.

Elarge prepared specifications and drawings and provided contract administration services for the rehabilitation of the underground parking garage and replacement of the heating cables and all other
required remedial work.
