The Condominium building at located 35 Empress Avenue is a 24-storey high-rise residential building and is situated on the south-west corner of Doris Avenue and Empress Avenue. The building was constructed in the early 1994’s.
The building’s underground parking garage has three parking levels, two suspended basement parking levels and one on-grade sub-basement parking level. The overall footprint of the underground parking garage is larger than the footprint of the residential condominium tower above.
On the north, south and east sides of the building, the parking garage roof slab extends beyond the footprint of the building, and serves as a landscaped podium deck consisting of primarily soft landscaping features.
Elarge prepared the specifications and drawings for the rehabilitation of the podium deck, assisted with tendering, and is currently providing field review and contract administration services during construction.
